Wonderful coffee. Easily the best in Essex. Wonderful sandwiches too.
I've been having sandwiches and coffee from here since 1990, if not longer! Love their coffee and toasted bacon sandwiches. So many regulars, which is testimony to how good they are. There may be limited seating, but every one does their bit to keep it neat and tidy - ready for the next customer.

I have been coming here for over a decade. The coffee is extraordinary. The owner goes every weekend to the docks to buy sacks of fresh coffee beans and then grins and roasts the coffee himself. The sandwiches and rolls are always fresh, packed full and very tasty. All the staff are very friendly. The cafe also offers incredible value for money. If you love good coffee, you must come here.
